How Seeking Jesus Was Initiated
My original investigation into the life of Jesus started with an examination of the bible. At that time in my life I had experienced a dramatic turn around that included a re-dedication of to Jesus.
Therefore, my intent in reading the bible was to develop a closer relationship with Him. I sought to better understand Him so that I could become more like Him, at least to the extent possible, with Gods help. The big surprise was that seeking Jesus was much more complex than I expected.
To start with, I had some real interest in understanding the following statement of Jesus:
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. John 14:6
- Jesus is the Light of the Wordl
While there were some clues in the passage to reveal what Jesus meant, I felt that the answers were vague. The way to where, I wondered? The truth about what and why does it matter to me? Exactly what life was He talking about? I wanted to know more as this verse hinted that there was more to reveal about Jesus.
In addition, there was another passage that also stumped me:
He said to them, “This is what I told you while I was still with you: Everything must be fulfilled that is written about me in the Law of Moses, the Prophets and the Psalms.” Luke 24:44
- The Transfigured Jesus With Moses
The problem was that I could not recall any comments about Jesus in the books of Moses. So I read the five books again with the intention of identifying the things written about Jesus. At the end of this exercise I still had not found anything of significance. I deeply wondered how this could be.
After agonizing about this for quite some time it hit me like a ton of bricks. It was the Tabernacle and the laws concerning the priesthood of Aaron. The Tabernacle was the place where God would dwell with His people on earth. Therefore, Jesus was the fulfillment of its promise. With this new revelation I started to put all of the pieces together. I then remembered that a deacon from our church told me that the names of the Tabernacle doors were; the Way, the Truth and the Life.
- Jesus, Moses and the Tabernacle
This was the big “ah ha” moment for me and the start of a wonderful journey. So, the result is that the material found on this site will reflect my discoveries about the Tabernacle of Moses and the life of Jesus Christ.
- The Tabernacle
A number of posting will look at the components of the Tabernacle in an effort to understand their attributes and purpose. Others will correlate this information to specific examples in the life of Jesus that prove that Jesus is the fulfillment of the Tabernacle of Moses (just like the above scripture promised).
Every compartment of the Tabernacle and each object found in it are prophetic of Jesus Christ. In each case we find examples of the Tabernacles’ artifacts replicated by a more perfect covenant in the life of Jesus.

In addition, we will present the words of Jesus that claim His identity, and then find scripture that supports these statements; namely, that He is the Christ and the fulfillment of Tabernacle prophesies.
Most importantly, we will lead you to understand that there are three distinct levels of relationship that man can have with God. Each progressive level brings you into a much closer and more intimate relationship with God.
To give you a bit more insight into the three levels of relationship, I have identified them as the relationships of: grace, empowerment and covenant. My belief is that you may want to understand your current level and how you may be able to move even closer to God. If this is the case then a review of the material found in this site will be of significant service to you.
May all of God’s blessing be given to you and your family.
May God’s blessing be upon you always;
